Welcome to Bovine 5.0, where we've mastered the art of sacred suffering. We've got timed segments for those seeking glory, age-group podiums for the wisdom-keepers, and our legendary Lanterne MOOuge award for the rider who proves that finishing last is winning big.

This isn't your typical gravel thingamabob. It’s a full weekend of two-wheeled moolightenment filled with dirty roads, stunning terrain, and moovelous smiles. 

You ready to release the bovine where ancient gravel wisdom meets modern suffering in California's wine country?

THE 3 PATHS TO GRAVEL GLORY

Whether you're an apprentice seeking wisdom or a black-belt mooster seeking a higher calling, we've got three ways to test your moojo:

  • The Big Bovine (88 miles, 8,400'): The full monty of mixed-surface, mixed mootial arts madness
    ‍
  • The Feisty (70.6 miles, 6,800'): Serious suffering, slightly less cowmmitment
    ‍
  • The Happy (45 miles, 4,000'): This crouching milkmaid, hidden bovine of a course is a bit easier on the haunches. 

Each route includes exclusive access to private vineyards and Land Conservancy ranch lands you literally cannot ride any other day. Plus aid stations stocked with actual food, not just gels and sadness.

Zen and the Art of Gravel Moontenance: Run 38c-42c tires and you'll handle everything from chunky dirt to smooth tarmac. Go wider if you value comfort over speed. Go narrower if you enjoy suffering more than necessary.

The path to moolightenment doesn't end when you cross the finish line. We've got pre-rides Thursday and Friday to shake out your moojo, plus a NEW Sunday eMOOtional Hangover Ride for those who can't get enough suffering (or just aren't ready to say goodbye to the herd).
